The Art Deco Cast Iron Swan Ashtray is an iconic piece of mid-century tobacciana, most famous for its association with Marilyn Monroe. An identical Austrian-designed, 1930s cast iron swan ashtray was famously discovered on her nightstand on the day of her passing. While often styled or categorized alongside Brutalist decor due to its heavy, textured, and raw metallic finish, its fluid lines and stylized avian form place its true origins in the Art Deco era.
