Vintage Hand-Knotted Persian/Caucasian runner

Older hand-knotted wool runner featuring seven geometric medallions surrounded by an intricate field of colorful geometric and floral motifs with multiple patterned borders. Rich shades of red, blue, ivory, orange, olive and muted purple. Measures approximately 81” L x 37” W. Shows considerable age-related wear, including areas of pile loss, worn edges/fringe and other imperfections consistent with age and use. Exact age and origin are unknown.
