A late 19th-century French Louis XVI style vanity and sewing work table. The hinged lift-top opens to reveal a fitted mirror and removable sectional wooden tray over a deep storage compartment. Features a central gilded foliate design, brass edging, fluted legs, and an X-form stretcher centered by a turned brass finial, key included, measuring 28 3/4 x 24 1/2 x 15 inches. Condition noted: minor surface scratches, rubbing to the gilt decoration, and wear consistent with age.
