An exceptionally lightweight, translucent semi-eggshell porcelain cup and saucer decorated in the Aesthetic Movement style with heavily raised, relief-gilded Lily of the Valley motifs, wild flora, and finely painted butterflies. The cup is finished with a vibrant pink-glazed interior, and the underside bears an iron-red hand-painted workshop pattern mark F 8197, cup 2 1/2 inches high, saucer 4 3/4 inches diameter.
