An Aesthetic Movement partial porcelain luncheon service retailed by James Green & Nephew, Queen Victoria Street, St. Pauls. Each piece hand-painted with Lilies, Orchids and other botanicals on a mint green ground evoking Chinese celadon, the beginning of the Aesthetic Movement. The decoration and quality align with work done at the time by Mintons, marked at the base. To include 39 pieces: 12 cups, 12 saucers, 11 luncheon plates, 1 covered dish and 1 slop bowl. Condition noted: in overall good condition, knife marks to some of the plates, minor wear to gilding, hairline to the base of the slop bowl.
