A Thomas Spence of Dysart (Scottish, Active 1780), the dial features a silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds' dial, a matted centre with a calendar aperture and ornate corner brass spandrels, 81 1/4 x 18 1/4 x 10 3/8 inches. Note to buyer: pick up of this tall case clock will have to be scheduled at a residence downtown Ottawa.
