A deluxe three-quarter bound leather edition of Louis Hémon's Maria Chapdelaine, published by Éditions Mornay, Paris, 1933, numbered 1739 from a limited edition of 1,900 on papier de Rives à la forme, containing 54 hand-stenciled color pochoir illustrations after original works by painter-draughtsman-engraver-illustrator Clarence Alphonse Gagnon, RCA, LL.D. (Canadian, 1881-1942).
