American flag with accompanying signed mission certificate documenting that the flag was flown aboard a U.S. Marine Corps AH-1W “Super Cobra” attack helicopter during a combat mission in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom on July 4, 2008. Certificate identifies Mission Number 1110, Callsign Comprize 10, and states the flag was flown in recognition of American resolve following the September 11, 2001 attacks. Certificate is signed by the USMC AH-1W pilot and co-pilot and personalized to Charles and Jennifer Stroup. Flag and certificate remain together in protective plastic as found. An excellent Iraq War / USMC aviation / military history collectible with direct mission provenance
