Pitts by Virginia McCall Oil on canvas portrait of a woman in a white blouse against a green wooded background, painted by V.A. McCall, dated 1935. Reverse inscription identifies the sitter as "Daisy Pitts," who lived to 101 years (1888-1989); notes she came to work for Irva & Bill McCall in 1906 at age 18 with a baby, and stayed to help "Nini" until 1970. 17.5in frame.
