Vintage small metal trinket or pill box in an unusual paisley/leaf form with a fitted swivelling lid. Dark patinated finish with hand-engraved floral and scrolling decoration accented in a silvery tone. Measures approximately 3.5" long. Shows considerable age-related patina, oxidation, surface deposits and wear. Maker and exact metal composition unknown. An interesting little folk art / decorative metalware collectible.
