Vintage/antique Henry Birks & Sons Limited, Goldsmiths and Silversmiths wooden cutlery/flatware canteen or presentation case. Features a hinged wood cabinet with rich blue felt-lined interior, fitted utensil compartments and brass hardware. rass fitting is marked “Superior Lever – English Make – Patent No. 6152/12.” The case is empty and shows age-related wear. In need of repair/restoration, including attention to the closure/locking mechanism and general condition as shown. An interesting early Birks accessory for collectors of Canadian silver, flatware and jewellery-related antiques.
