Vintage Canadian Research Institute Dielectric Strength Tester, Model AVC-25V, Serial No. 1806. Made in Don Mills, Ontario. Rated 115V, 60Hz, 3A with analog 0–2.5 kV meter, adjustable voltage control, fault/reset controls and high-voltage test leads. Heavy-duty metal case with carrying handle.Tested and powers on/working, as shown. Displays age-related wear, surface marks, oxidation and soiling consistent with vintage laboratory/electrical equipment. High-voltage equipment – for use by qualified persons only.
