Lot of 3 vintage hand-painted porcelain figural groups, all stamped “Occupied Japan” on the bottoms, dating them to the post-WWII occupation period, circa 1945–1952. Includes a colourful gentleman figure, seated gentleman with book, and a larger musical courting couple featuring a lady beside a gentleman playing a stringed instrument. Detailed period costumes with colourful enamelling and gilt accents. Largest measures approximately 5½" H. Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with expected age-related wear to paint and gilt decoration. Please see photos for details.
