Diamond Brooch-Pendant.

9*4.2cm Wt:24.16g
Entirely hand?crafted in 18K gold, the piece takes the nymph??the woodland and water spirit of Greek mythology??as its creative theme. Translucent enamel and fluid human?figure contours conjure natural poetic beauty. The circular plaque has no solid metal backing; its geometric open?work star?shaped framework is assembled by soldering fine gold wires. Enamel glazes fill the metal cells, producing light?dispersion effects reminiscent of stained?glass church windows when light passes through. "Obverse": Triangular mosaic panels in macaron pink, sky?blue and pale gold. Enamel saturation shifts according to light intensity. "Reverse": Fully enamelled with matching symmetrical star motifs. Both sides are independently viewable. The piece demanded double working hours and carried an extremely high failure rate during production.

ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR CANCELLATIONS.

Condition and Authenticity:

Any statement in the catalogue, condition report, photographs, video, invoice, or other written or oral communication regarding the origin, date, age, attribution, authorship, authenticity, provenance, material, condition, or estimated selling price of any lot is a statement of opinion only.
