Silver Sculpture of Odysseus.

H:22cm L:15cm W:12cm Wt:1083g
Odysseus is the hero of ancient Greek mythology, King of Ithaca in western Greece and protagonist of the epic "Odyssey". He took part in the Trojan War and devised the Trojan Horse stratagem, which brought victory after ten years of stubborn resistance. Following the war, he wandered at sea for ten years. Most of his companions perished, yet he endured countless hardships and perils to finally return home and reunite with his wife and son. This sculpture depicts Odysseus rowing upon the sea, fearlessly striving toward his destination. Highly three?dimensional, it features powerfully rendered muscular anatomy, masterfully executed and preserved in immaculate condition.

ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR CANCELLATIONS.

Condition and Authenticity:

Any statement in the catalogue, condition report, photographs, video, invoice, or other written or oral communication regarding the origin, date, age, attribution, authorship, authenticity, provenance, material, condition, or estimated selling price of any lot is a statement of opinion only.
