Porcelain Seated Buddha Figure. H:15.2cm W:14.5cm Its two arms are separate porcelain components linked to the torso by internal silk threads, allowing free movement of the arms. The head is also movable with a nodding mechanism, classified as a Meissen nodding figure ?? an entertaining mechanical porcelain series distinctive to Meissen. Seated cross-legged with a hearty laughing expression, the figurine's robe is fully decorated with Western scrolling floral patterns accented with gilded trims, crafted in the signature Meissen Rococo polychrome overglaze painting technique.
