Decanter, Eight Years Old Bourbon. A sturdy Lionstone decanter modeled as the Woodhawk, the frontier woodcutter who supplied cordwood to the Missouri River steamboats. He rests upon his axe in fringed shirt and denim, and the modeler gave the weathered face and beard real character. Approximately 12 inches tall; the front plaque reads Lionstone Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey, eight years old, 86 proof, and the rear panel recounts the Woodhawk's trade, dated 1840 - 1849. Soiling to the base and wear to the rear label. See photos for exact size and condition. Condition: Shippable.
