1908-O Barber Dime (New Orleans Mint)This is a standard 1908-O Barber (Liberty Head) dime. The “O” mint mark is clearly visible below the wreath bow on the reverse. Mintage was 1,789,000 — the lowest of the four 1908 issues and a modest semi-key relative to the higher-mintage Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco coins of that year. The word LIBERTY on the headband (the primary grading diagnostic for Barber coinage) appears mostly or completely worn away, with little to no clear lettering visible.Hair and facial details are heavily flattened.Rims are full and intact.Reverse wreath shows basic outline and some leaf separation, but high points (especially the bow and upper leaves) are smooth.Surfaces are dark gray with typical circulated toning/dirt in the recesses; no major damage (holes, bends, or heavy scratches) is apparent. estimated value is $15–$25.
