Cover Collection Large assorted collection of Chinese and Republic of China/Taiwan philatelic material, including numerous first day covers, commemorative envelopes, loose stamps, multiples, and stamps retained on portions of their original envelopes or paper. The collection includes a substantial group of illustrated Chinese first day covers, many dating from the early 1990s. Subjects represented include Chinese art and historical scenes, traditional culture, folk designs, sports and the 1992 Olympics, flowers, architecture, porcelain, science and peace, musical instruments, wildlife, and other commemorative events. Also includes a Hong Kong official first day cover featuring Chinese string musical instruments. Additional material includes Republic of China/Taiwan stamps and postal pieces, along with assorted older and modern Chinese stamps. Some stamps remain in original collector cards or protective sleeves. Most stamps are cancelled/used, with possible unused examples throughout. Exact quantity, catalogue numbers, dates, and completeness of individual sets have not been verified. Condition: Overall good used collectible condition with varying age, cancellation, toning, creasing, and handling wear. Some stamps remain attached to original envelope fragments or backing paper.
