1971 Bazooka #4 Dick Butkus Hand Cut (PSA 6 EX-MT) / 1972 NFLPA Wonderful World Of Stamps #46 Dick Butkus (PSA 7 NM) NFL Football Trading Cards (2 Cards Total) (PSA Certification: 15574712 & 15025917). An outstanding duo of vintage Dick Butkus football collectibles, pairing a 1971 Bazooka #4 Dick Butkus Hand Cut, professionally graded PSA 6 EX MT under PSA Certification #15574712, with a 1972 NFLPA Wonderful World of Stamps #46 Dick Butkus, graded an impressive PSA 7 NM under PSA Certification #15025917. Both pieces feature the legendary Chicago Bears middle linebacker Dick Butkus during the heart of his fearsome Hall of Fame career and represent unconventional issues that were distributed outside the traditional football card pack format. The 1971 Bazooka is particularly appealing as a classic food issued collectible, originally appearing as part of Bazooka bubble gum packaging and intended to be cut from its original panel by collectors, explaining the hand cut designation found on PSA certified examples. The card presents an unmistakable image of Butkus in his iconic Bears #51 uniform and survives here in an attractive PSA 6 grade despite the inherently challenging nature of cards that required manual removal from their original packaging.
