GSID: 228.1778 Make: U.S. Springfield Armory Model: 1922 M2 Serial #: 837 Caliber: .22 LR Barrel Length: 24.5" Low Estimate: 700.00 High Estimate: 900.00 This Cadet U.S. Springfield Armory 1922 M2 training rifle in fine condition made to mimic the M 1903 U.S. Springfield Armory bolt action rifle in .22 LR caliber w/ a 24.5" barrel displays ~99% of its blued finish to the gun's parts w/ a polished bolt. There is a raised blade front sight on a band & a Lyman brand windage/elevation micro-adjustable receiver mounted sight. The barrel is stamped "S.A." over a flaming bomb over "7-32". The oil stained hardwood walnut finger groove semi-pistol grip half stock is excellent and has a checkered straight butt plate. Also included is a five round magazine. The markings are sharp, action crisp & the bore/rifling are excellent. (C&R).
