Constructed with an aromatic solid cedar interior housed within a tapered, dark-stained exterior casing, this blanket chest features an angular trapezoidal profile. The piece stands on low-profile cutout feet and includes dual metal lid support hinges, a front keyhole lock mechanism, and back-mounted strap hinges. Condition shows fair, honest wear consistent with age and use, including finish rubbing, surface scuffs, and edge wear along the dark reddish-brown exterior. The unvarnished cedar interior remains clean with light scuffs and minor water rings on the floor. Key is not included; lock mechanism is untested. Measures 20" H x 42" W x 17.5" D.
