Antique Southington Cutlery Company quadruple-plate teapot, pattern 1023 C, from the late Victorian era. Dating to the 1880s'1890s, the teapot stands approximately 9 inches tall and exhibits a bulbous body on a circular pedestal foot, a long spout,and a floral-decorated handle. The surface displays engraved flowers and foliage alongside geometric bands typical of the Aesthetic Movement. The underside is stamped "Southington C. Co. Quadruple Plate 1023 C." Accompanying the teapot is anunrelated silver-plated pitcher, about 7 inches in height, with an elongated body, a scrolling handle, and applied decorative features. The lot also includes a selection of flatware: six teaspoons, three larger spoons, one salad fork, and one dinnerfork, each with distinct handle patterns and none forming a matched set. Visible tarnish and surface wear are evident throughout the pieces.
