Fresh Start Hardcover Graphic Novel

Updated September 7, 2026

Ollie Herisson has always embraced new beginnings, thanks to her father's role as a diplomat, which has taken her family to various countries like Singapore, Korea, France, and the United States. With every school change, Ollie approaches each fresh start with confidence, unbothered by the opinions of her classmates. She immerses herself in a world of imagination, often pretending to inhabit the vibrant realm of anime, no matter if it makes her seem quirky or if she accidentally clashes with the popular crowd. However, when her family relocates from Germany to Virginia, Ollie faces an unexpected twist: her parents are settling down and buying a house, allowing her and her sister Cat to finish grade school in one place. This sudden change leaves Ollie navigating the challenges of making lasting friendships while being true to herself, all without the safety net of a temporary escape. Will she be able to adapt to this new reality and discover the value of permanence and authentic connections?
