Wonderful vintage pelican bird jewelry set featuring one large brooch and one smaller matching pin. The large piece is clearly marked “CARL-ART STERLING” on the back, identifying it as sterling silver jewelry by Carl-Art Inc. The stylized pelican design has an elegant mid-century look with cutout details, layered wings and a long dimensional beak. The warm gold appearance suggests a gold-tone/gold-washed finish over sterling silver on the larger brooch. The smaller matching pelican appears similar, but its metal content should be listed as unverified unless it is also marked. Nice collectible figural vintage jewelry.
