Detailed collectible sewing thimble crafted in silver-tone metal and richly decorated with extensive hand-engraved geometric, foliate, and calligraphic-inspired ornament. The tapered cylindrical body is divided into decorative registers filled with closely worked patterns, giving the piece an ornate appearance from every angle.<br><br>The crown features numerous recessed needle dimples for traditional sewing use, while the open base is finished with a slightly flared rim.
