A large rectangular wall hanging crafted in a mosaic style from pieced animal pelts. The central design features a stylized galloping horse in profile, executed in tan and dark brown fur. The horse is depicted with a flowing dark brown mane and tail, and defined hooves. The figure is set against a cream-colored fur ground and is framed by two concentric borders: an inner band of dark brown fur and an outer band of cream-colored fur. The assembly uses varied fur directions and colors to create a sense of movement and form. The top edge is affixed to a horizontal wooden slat for display. Condition: The fur pelt assembly appears well-preserved with no visible areas of fur loss, balding, or significant wear. The colors are clear and the design is well-defined.
