This taxidermy rug features a full-bodied pelt of a fox with light yellowish-tan fur. The skin is mounted to a black ruffled felt border and a dark teal fabric lining on the underside. The head is detailed with inset dark glass eyes and an open mouth with modeled anatomical features including a tongue and teeth. The rug includes four limbs terminating in paws and a bushy tail. A piece of green adhesive tape with handwritten notations is present on the surface. Condition: The rug is in good vintage condition. The fur remains largely intact with typical texture for the species. Minor wear is present consistent with age and use. The felt backing and fabric lining are secure and show no significant tearing.
