This pair of decorative porcelain plates is from the Christmas with Trisha Romance series, based on original paintings by the artist. The first plate, titled Star of Wonder, depicts a young child in a dark winter coat and bonnet standing in a snowy street beside a sled filled with parcels, looking into a shop window showcasing a nativity display. The second plate features a child in traditional Nordic attire feeding a reindeer in a snow-covered landscape. Both plates are bordered by a cream-colored band decorated with holly sprigs, red berries, and gold-tone stars, finished with a gilded rim. The reverse of the Star of Wonder plate identifies it as the first in the series, produced in a limited edition restricted to 92 firing days. It is hand-inscribed with plate number 58533 and carries a 1996 copyright for The Artists Garden Inc., produced by N.C. Cameron and Sons, Ltd. Each plate bears the artist signature T. Romance within the illustration. Condition: The plates appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or crazing to the porcelain or transfer-printed decoration. The gilt rims remain intact. Both items are fitted with wire wall-hanging hardware.
