A traditional armchair featuring a wooden frame with a reddish-brown stain. The piece is designed in a Colonial Revival style, characterized by downward-curving arms and turned legs and stretchers. The arched backrest and seat are upholstered in a tan and gold vertically striped fabric. The underside of the frame shows the upholstery is secured with staples and the wooden rail features the handwritten inscription Unit 527 in white ink. A piece of green adhesive tape with handwritten markings is present on the backrest. Included with the chair is a single solid tan square throw pillow. Condition: The wooden frame exhibits scattered scuffs, nicks, and surface wear to the finish, most notably on the arms and legs. The upholstery displays minor wear consistent with age and domestic use. A piece of adhesive tape is adhered to the fabric. The chair appears structurally sound.
