It efficiently drives filtration to remove debris and help keep the water crystal clear. Also suitable for use as pool pumps above ground. Easy Installation: Pre configured with 1.5" and 2" adapters, this pump is compatible with mainstream US pool plumbing designs. When replacing an old unit, it can connect almost seamlessly, saving time and effort for both inground pool pump and above ground pool pump setups. Independent Switch Control & Timer Compatibility: Built in independent ON/OFF switch for simple manual control. It can also be connected to a traditional external pool timer to achieve automatic start/stop and scheduled filtration cycles (this unit does not include a built in timer), whether used as a pool pump inground or as pool pumps above ground. More Comfortable Operating Experience: The motor section is rated IPX5 for effective protection against splashes and rain.
