This Power Lift Support Struts suit For Ford Escape 2.0L 2.5L 2013-2019. Check car make, model, year, OE number before buy this Power Tailgate Struts. Function This Rear Liftgate Power Support Shock Strut will be aging, cracking, rusty connector etc. after long-term use. Replace rear hatch struts kit when the trunk door have noisy sound or clunky that hard to open and close. Instead of manually operate, this electric tailgate lift relying an actuator and plug to achieve remote control by key fob. Features Ours Rear Tailgate Struts Power Liftgate Support adopt with durable metal material with anti-rust coating for corrosion resistance, anti corrosion sleeve with metal mounting bracket to prevent rust or deform, pre-wired harness to prevent inside wires from rust or break. Built-in electric motor will driving and guide the electric strut to extend or contract. Installation 1. Keep the rear gate door open on max height and remove inner trim panel; 2. Unplug the plug, use tools to loose the old spherical joint and insert new one; 3. Plug the liftgate plug and recover the inner trim panel; 4. Use diagnostic scanner to clear error code, just use scanner to clear if show negative/occasional; replace the lift struts if show permanent. Please confirm the L/R mark on struts before install it on your tailgate. Package Include 1x Tailgate Power Lift Support. Use below method to active tailgate remote function: 1. Push the trunk close button; or 2. Close the tailgate by hand slowly and push the trunk open button; or 3. Use diagnostic scanner to reset control module and push trunk close button.
