Striking hand-blown art glass paperweight featuring a black glass core decorated with numerous controlled air bubbles, encased in heavy clear glass and surmounted by a broad, shallow disc-shaped top. Bold sculptural form with strong Mid-Century Modern appeal. Unsigned; maker and origin unknown. Dimensions: 5 1/2 in. diameter × 3 3/4 in. high Condition: Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs noted. No original box.
