Rare pressed glass Centennial souvenir paperweight by Gillinder & Sons, dating to approximately 1876. This distinctive domed paperweight features a hollow-core design enclosing a dark brown turtle with articulated moving head, tail, and legs. Mounted on its original beige paper and green simulated leather base. A desirable piece of early American pressed glass and Centennial Exposition memorabilia, prized by collectors of antique paperweights and Victorian novelty glass. Dimensions: 3¼" Diameter × 1½" H Condition: Excellent condition for its age. Original base present. No significant chips or cracks noted. No original box included.
