Vintage 1996 Pickford Bears Ltd. “Dooley – The Bear of Serenity” from The Brass Button Bear Collection. This handcrafted, fully jointed teddy bear features curly tan plush with brown paw pads and wears a coordinating burgundy, lavender and green knit hat and scarf. Dooley retains his original Brass Button Bears hang tags, including the character/story tag describing the “Legend of the Brass Button Bears.” A brass-tone button is attached to the hat. Manufacturer tag identifies the bear as Pickford Bears Ltd., ©1996 Metacom, Inc., Item #982303, printed in Korea. Bear measures approximately 9 inches seated to the top of the head, with the tall knit hat extending above that measurement. Pre-owned vintage condition with age/storage wear. Curly plush has a naturally tousled appearance, and the paper hang tags show visible creasing, edge wear and surface wear. Clothing may show minor fuzzing or loose fibers consistent with age. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition. A charming 1990s collectible teddy bear with its original accessories and identification tags intact.
