THOMAS KINKADE "LAMPLIGHT VILLAGE" - CLASSICS COLLECTION CANVAS REPRODUCTION, FRAMED WITH CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY A framed Thomas Kinkade Lamplight Village canvas reproduction from the Classics Collection, published by Lightpost Publishing, matted and framed and ready to hang. The image is the classic Kinkade glowing-village scene, a stone arch bridge over a still river, lit street lamps down both banks, cottages and a church spire against a soft evening sky, with figures strolling the path and a boat drawn up at the water's edge. It is presented in a substantial burl-figured dark wood frame with a linen-look fabric mat and a bright gold inner liner, and it carries an engraved brass nameplate on the mat reading Lamplight Village, THOMAS KINKADE. The printed Certificate of Authenticity is included and is photographed as part of this lot. Framed Kinkade canvases in this format still furnish a room well and this one is a comfortable size for a hallway, dining room, entry, or above a sofa table. The piece was photographed hanging in place and was not taken down, so the back and hanging hardware were not photographed. Sold as one framed canvas reproduction with its certificate. Description Framed canvas reproduction after the Thomas Kinkade painting Lamplight Village, printed on canvas and mounted, with a printed artist signature visible in the lower right of the image. Frame is a wide stepped profile in a dark reddish-brown burl-figured finish with a black outer edge, enclosing a cream linen-look fabric mat and a narrow bright gold liner around the image. Brass nameplate mounted on the lower mat, engraved in script and block lettering reading Lamplight Village over THOMAS KINKADE. Certificate of Authenticity printed in gold and black on cream stock, headed Certificate of Authenticity, Lamplight Village, BY THOMAS KINKADE, with printed text reading in part that the reproduction of the original oil painting was first issued as a Classics Collection image in 2000, that it was previously published by Lightpost Publishing, Inc. as a full-size limited edition lithograph and has been issued as an open edition Classics reproduction in an image size smaller than the original release, that it is printed on genuine cotton fibre artist canvas using premium quality inks, then mounted on artist board, and that each bears the edition number and year of issue, Kinkade's authorized signature, and the official Classics Collection seal. The certificate lists the edition number as 2000, noted as designating the year of issue. Historical facts printed on the certificate state that Lamplight Village was first published as a limited edition lithograph in 1995 in an image size of 18 by 24 inches with an edition size of 4950 signed and numbered, that it is the fourth in the series Lamplight Lane, that it is sold out from the publisher in the limited edition canvas edition, that it was awarded the 1995 first runner-up Lithograph of the Year Award by the National Ass
