Offered is a charming vintage 3-piece Pfaltzgraff Del Rey hand-painted cup and saucer set, including three matching turquoise-blue cups and three coordinating patterned saucers. Each cup features a soft aqua/turquoise exterior with a warm off-white interior, subtle speckled glaze, and an elegant curved white handle. The saucers have a cream speckled ground with a circular black scallop design accented by alternating teal and gray dots. The underside of a saucer is marked: "DEL REY" "HAND PAINTED" "Pfaltzgraff" "CALIFORNIA MADE IN U.S.A." Approximate measurements: Cups: approximately 3 inches tall Cup rim diameter: approximately 3 1/2 inches Saucers: approximately 6 inches diameter Condition appears good vintage used condition overall, with light age-appropriate wear. Cups show minor shelf wear/scuffing to the undersides and small glaze/manufacturing irregularities consistent with hand-painted pottery. No obvious chips, cracks, or repairs were observed; however, bidders should carefully inspect all photographs for their own determination of condition. A wonderful mid-century California pottery set for coffee, tea, display, or addition to a Pfaltzgraff collection. Includes only the three cups and three saucers shown.
