Vintage Fostoria American clear glass covered butter dish featuring the classic geometric cube pattern. The set includes the rectangular handled base/tray and matching covered lid. The glass has a substantial, sparkling pressed/cut appearance with repeating three-dimensional cube designs and decorative geometric edging. From the photographs, the overall piece measures approximately: 7 inches long including handles About 3 inches wide Approximately 2 inches high with the cover in place The Fostoria American pattern was one of the company's long-running and highly recognizable glass patterns, and Fostoria produced an oblong butter-and-cover form in this design. Condition appears very good overall from the photographs, with normal light surface wear consistent with age. I do not see an obvious major crack or large chip in the supplied images, but buyers should review all close-up photos carefully, particularly the edges, handles, and lid.
