Wittnauer Mechanical Triple Date Chronograph w/ Cal. Valjoux 72C Men's Wrist Watch.This is a 1950's Mechanical Wittnauer Triple Date Chronograph with signed: Dial, Movement, Inside Case Back. Watch has stainless steel case with snap case back. Case back is signed Wittnauer Watch Co. Inc., Swiss, Stainless Steel. The signed dial is white with applied hour markers with 60 Second, 30 Minute and 12 Hour dials with day and month registers, as well as a hand pointer to day of month chapter ring on perimeter of dial. Chronograph movement is signed Wittnauer Watch Co. Inc., 17 Jewels, AXA (Wittnauer Swiss code). This is the highly sought after and well-regarded Valjoux 72C movement. This watch measures 35 mm x 43 mm. Has a Kreisler leather type watch band. Watch is in 'as found' condition exhibiting honest use wear patina. It's been stored away in a drawer for year. We did not show the back for security, since it has the engraved name of the estate owner.
