A pair of injection-molded plastic wall plaques by Dart Industries modeled after the Philadelphia 1871 steam locomotive. One locomotive features a monochromatic gold-tone finish, while the other is polychrome with green, red, and gold-toneaccents. The reverse of each hollow-cast piece is embossed with 2144 © MCMLXXI DART IND and includes integrated sawtooth hangers for mounting. Both items are set on integrated tracks with wood-grain bases. 44.5 x 9.5 x 2 inches. These vintage plaques are in good condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. The polychrome version shows light scuffing and paint loss on raised edges. The gold-tone locomotive has slight tarnishing. All mounting hardware is intact.
