A set of four American Flyer S scale passenger cars manufactured by Lionel Trains Inc. The collection comprises two Harriman Vista Dome cars and two Pasadena passenger cars, all finished in the Union Pacific yellow and grey livery with redpinstriping. Each car features a plastic body mounted to a black metal chassis with plastic and metal wheel sets. The car sides are decorated with red block lettering reading UNION PACIFIC, with individual road names Harriman or Pasadena and road numbers 8909 or 8908 printed below the window line. The windows contain black passenger silhouettes against a white background. As indicated by the packaging, the cars are equipped with interior illumination. One car has been removed for display, while the remaining three cars remain sealed in their original clear plastic wrap within the packaging. The underside of each metal chassis is molded with AMERICAN FLYER and LIONEL TRAINS INC. along with MT. CLEMENS The cars are in excellent, near-mint physical condition. The exterior paint is crisp and uniform, and the printed graphics are sharp and intact (photo 2). The clear plastic dome on the Harriman car is free of visible scratches or cracks (photo 3).
