Italian Art Deco book-shaped jewelry or keepsake box, circa 1920s–1930s, carved from marble with distinctive black, gold, and white veining. The faux-book design features carved page detailing along the edges and elaborate bronze strap-style hinges incorporating East Asian-inspired medallions. The interior is fitted with a hardwood lining containing some jewelry and the box retains its original decorative hardware.
