oscillating desk fan, LI72550, Spec. 272227 manufactured in the early 1910s to 1920s.Identification Plate: Stamped with Type AOU, 110 Volts, 60 Cycles, and a specific catalog/spec number typical of vintage GE cast-iron electric fans.Switch Settings: Features a lever-operated slide switch with settings for OFF, HIGH, MEDIUM, and LOW speeds.Design Details: Housed in a heavy cast-iron motor frame with the classic forest/dark green painted finish and felt-lined bottom common to the era. All 3 speeds work and runs smoothly, oscillation also works. This is in in excellent condition especially for its age. Blades are non magnetic and from the few chips od paint missing, I think these are aluminum or other type of non magnetic metal. The cord is also in decent shape and I had no reservations about plugging it in and testing it.
