It features a manual clamshell mechanism that opens upwards to save workspace. The upper heat platen and lower platen work together to apply heat and pressure to the target materials. This unit is configured with an external digital controller box that connects via a dedicated multi-pin cable. The controller allows the operator to set temperature and pressing time. A manual pressure adjustment knob located on top of the upper platen allows for modification of the clamping force.
