THIS UNIT IS AS IS - Pump motor powers on and spins but produces no suction at the inlet KEY ISSUES (READ FIRST): - NO PUMP SUCTION: Motor hums, starts, and spins when powered on, but there was no suction felt at the pump inlet during testing. - PREVIOUS USAGE: The unit shows cosmetic signs of previous usage, including handling dust and minor surface wear. CONFIRMED WORKING: - MOTOR POWER TESTED: Pump motor hums, starts, and spins when connected to a 110V GFCI power source. - VALVE CONTROL FUNCTIONAL: Multi-port valve handle depresses and rotates into all four positions, clicking into each slot. - PRESSURE GAUGE INTACT: Gauge glass is clear and undamaged, and the indicator needle rests at zero. - HOUSINGS AND TANK INTACT: White plastic filter tank, black pump housing, and black multiport valve show no cracks, structural damage, or stripped threads. - CLAMP SECURE: Orange plastic tank clamp has no cracks, and both tightness screws are present and functional. - DRAIN CAP INTACT: Tank bottom drain cap is present with its inner rubber gasket and threads securely. The system includes a molded thermoplastic sand tank that holds the filtration media, paired with a multi-port valve to control water flow during filtration, backwashing, and rinsing cycles. This system mounts both the filter tank and the pump motor to a single-piece black base plate. It features an integrated pressure gauge to monitor internal system pressure during operation. Connection fittings, adapters, and clamps are included to hook the system up to standard pool plumbing.
