No electricity, plumbing, tools or water pressure are required. Designed for approximately 1 4 people. INCLUDES 2 AUTHENTIC BLACK BERKEY FILTER ELEMENTS:- Includes two authentic Black Berkey filter elements (BB9-2), the Gold Standard in gravity-fed water filtration. The elements are designed to reduce a broad range of substances that may affect drinking water quality, taste, and odor. The Big Berkey System can accommodate up to four Black Berkey filter elements (sold separately) to increase filtration flow rate. DURABLE STAINLESS STEEL COUNTERTOP DESIGN:- Constructed from polished AISI 304 stainless steel, the Big Berkey System is built for long-lasting everyday use. Its countertop design measures approximately 8.5 inches in diameter and 19.25 inches tall when assembled. The upper chamber nests inside the lower chamber for more compact storage when disassembled. SIMPLE SETUP WITH NO ELECTRICITY OR PLUMBING:- Simply prime the Black Berkey filter elements, install them in the upper chamber, and fill with tap water. Gravity moves water through the filter elements into the lower chamber for everyday filtered water. No electricity, plumbing, permanent installation, or specialized tools are typically required. Includes two authentic Black Berkey filter elements, priming button, blocking plugs, washers, and assembly instructions. Each pair of authentic Black Berkey filter elements provides up to 6,000 gallons of filtered water before replacement is recommended.
