RH Annecy Metal Wrapped Sideboard & Open Hutch

Drawing inspiration from French industrial designs of the early 20th century, the piece celebrates the art of hand wrapped sheet metal. Painstakingly constructed, each piece features sheet metal secured by thousands of hand hammered nails using a centuries old technique. In a finishing process that takes froom 7-10 days per sihouette, the metal is buffed by hand and antiqued through oxidation, displaying highs and lows that reveal the artisan's hand. It's warm patina only grows richer over time. Measures: 93" H x 84 1/4" W x 18 1/2" D NOTE: The owner custom painted the back wall of the interior in brushed silver, and added lighting. DETAILS: * Crafted of wood and hand wrapped in sheet metal * Mortise and tenon joinery * Zinc finish is hand applied to brass sheet and antiqued for a mottled, uneven appearance that lends it its unique character * Light zinc finish is hand applied to aluminum sheet and antiqued by hand * Aged bronze finish is hand applied to brass sheet and antiqued by hand
