16"h Silver-plated trumpet-form vase or centerpiece, approximately 16 in. high, with a broad circular foot raised on three decorative feet. The tall tapered stem is embellished with heavily cast floral and foliate mounts, continuing around the shaped upper rim. The elaborate decoration has a Rococo Revival / Victorian Revival character. The piece is unmarked in the areas photographed. Visible copper-colored areas where the silver finish has worn through are consistent with silver plate over a copper or copper-alloy base, rather than sterling silver.
