A striking hand-worked studio art glass vase of baluster form, featuring a matte/satin black body enlivened by an energetic network of applied and trailed glass decoration in cobalt/periwinkle blue, pale yellow, and cream. The overlapping diagonal trails create a dynamic web-like pattern around the vessel, contrasting effectively against the dark ground. The vase is finished with a broad, flared trumpet-form rim and a vivid yellow interior shading toward pale cream/white near the lip. Raised blue trails continue upward across the shoulder and neck, while the lower body terminates in a circular frosted glass foot. The underside shows a recessed pontil/worked area consistent with hand-finished studio glass production. Material: Hand-worked art glass. Dimensions: Approx. 8.5 in. high (21.6 cm).
