A substantial vintage green art glass vase of modernist form, featuring a broad flattened oval body tapering toward the neck and terminating in a wide, thick rolled rim. The rich olive/avocado green glass is decorated with evenly spaced horizontal lighter-green trailing or threaded bands encircling the body. The deliberately simple form, saturated colour and horizontal decoration give the vase a strong Mid-Century Modern / Scandinavian-inspired appearance. The underside shows a broad polished/finished base with evidence consistent with hand or studio production
